PETER BLACK has studied Flamenco in Andalucía and Latin guitar with working musicians from Rio de Janeiro. Peter is equally at home in other styles of music and has a long history of performing in Rock bands and ensembles of various descriptions. A virtuoso guitarist, he combines the technical qualities and emotion of classical performance to the feeling, groove and accessibility of popular styles. He was a televised finalist of Sky TVs guitar star in 2015.
BRIAN DOCHERTY : Glasgow-Irish post-Beat poet for the new millennium, lived in north London for many years, is now part of a growing community of writers, artists & musicians on the Sussex coast. He will read from his new book, In my Dreams Again (Penniless Press, 2017).
ALICE DENNY is a performance poet from Hastings, having recently moved back from Brighton where she became a familiar figure in the spoken word scene, performing for New Writing South, supporting Polari, Brighton Women’s Voices. Transpride, Brighton Pride, and many other events. Alice’s poems reflect her perspective on the joys of womanhood, love, loss, sexuality, marginalisation and injustice. Alice despises bullying in all it’s forms , especially in herself.
