City Ramblers Revival are named after the late 50’s skiffle group the City Ramblers, regulars on BBC Radio and TV’s 6.5.Special, resident band of the Skiffle Cellar, Soho. They recorded for Tempo Records and Storyville and played at the Moscow International Youth Festival in 1957. Simon Prager & Doc Stenson, excellent musicians and entertainers, are veterans of the acoustic blues and folk scene in the UK. Hylda Sims was a founder member of the original City Ramblers. They play skiffle, blues, original songs, and more. Show starts 8.30. Items from the floor welcome as always.
